This week, if only to put off Mank a little longer, Frame Work is taking a look at the crown jewel of David Fincher’s run of Netflix streaming shows, Mindhunter. In some ways the last word on America’s fascination with serial killers, this show sees Fincher bringing all his trademark fixations to long format storytelling, and it pretty much just rules. We’re talking about True Crime leavened with light fictionalization, foot fetishes, the tremendous lead performances, the tremendous guest killer performances, the lack of Zodiac in the show’s universe, Al’s childhood growing up down the block from the BTK Killer, and the show’s odd relationship with the Hannibal Lector franchise. All of this, for you.

And of course, this is our podcast, there are more, find us on podcast app of your choice, rate and review, all of that usual stuff. Same as it ever was!
