Last week, Joon Kim joined us to discuss the consensus best entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that was, of course, only half the story. There’s also the weirder, more personally appealing choices that weren’t necessarily as popular, but damned if they didn’t work for us. We’re talking about the rest here, from the debatable humanism and thematic heft of Doctor Strange to the multi-colored space family escapades of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise to the basic competence of the Ant-man stuff. Is the Blip a good storytelling device? Is Far From Home over-hated? We’re getting it all out of our system here, once and for all, and there’s no need to ever talk about these again, until Shang Chi comes out next week, one assumes.

Surely, far more talk of Age of Ultron this week, right? Regrettably, no.
