Harley Quinn Is Front-And-Center in 4 New ‘Birds of Prey’ Posters

Perhaps the most intriguing and promising film in the upcoming DC slate is Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). The movie will give us Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, free from the shackles of the train wreck that was Suicide Squad. It’ll also give us an impressive cast consisting of Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Ewan McGregor, Chris Messina, Rosie Perez and Ella Jay Basco. Ah yes, not a Jared Leto in sight.

We honestly don’t know much about Birds of Prey and we won’t until the trailer drops tomorrow. Until then we can feast our eyes on these four bright posters that feature just Harley being Harley. Obviously Warner Bros and DC know what the selling point of this film is. Even those who hated Suicide Squad could admit that Robbie really delivered as Harley Quinn so the idea of getting more from her is definitely a treat.

One hopes Birds of Prey is as colorful and fun as these posters because that would be a well-needed change of pace for comic book films. Everything doesn’t need to be so dour and heavy.

Birds of Prey opens on February 7th.

Four years after the events of Suicide Squad, Batman has disappeared, leaving Gotham City unprotected from crime, and Harley Quinn has left the Joker. When Cassandra Cain, a young girl, comes across a diamond belonging to crime lord Black Mask, Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to help protect her.
