007 Only Has Time for Tuxes in New ‘No Time to Die’ Poster

Oh yes, that is definitely James Bond above doing his typical James Bond thing in this new poster for No Time to Die. He’s dapper, he’s ultra-serious, he likely has a silenced handgun just out of frame. And I bet that watch he’s wearing is worth more than an entire year’s salary. Ol’ 007 never changes.

Look, there isn’t much to say about this one-sheet for the upcoming Bond film. It’s a rather boring image of Bond and doesn’t drum up much excitement but at least it’s something. Daniel Craig’s final outing as James Bond has been plagued with production issues, rumors and delays a-plenty. The fact that Universal is confident enough in the film’s release to even make a poster is the big news here. It’s confirmation that no matter what you’ve heard, No Time to Die is actually happening.

But we sure would like to see more. Despite his always-great performances, Craig’s tenure as Bond has been mixed to say the least. He’s had some great movies (Casino Royale, Skyfall) and some awful ones (don’t make me mention them) so everyone is curious if his final adventure will be a perfect or lackluster conclusion. I think it’s safe to say that everyone is rooting for the film, especially because it’s being directed by the terrific Cary Fukunaga. But we have all heard the rumors and we are all very, very cautious. Give us something to believe in, Bond.

Here’s the official synopsis of No Time to Die. The film opens April 2020.

James Bond has left active service when his friend Felix Leiter enlists his help in the search for a missing scientist. When it becomes apparent that the scientist was abducted, Bond must confront a danger the likes of which the world has never seen before
